The groups that destabilize situation in Kyrgyzstan are always more active. This opinion was expressed by the Russian military and public figure Leonid Ivashov in an interview with the President of the Academy of Geopolitical Problems, the head of the Main Directorate of International Military Cooperation of the Russian Defense Ministry Alexander Nikitin.
The expert on regional security Taalatbek Masadykov also took part in the conversation. He is concerned that situation in Kyrgyzstan is not calm, not only in the social and economic terms, but also in the sphere of ensuring security. In run-up to the presidential elections in the KyrgyzRepublic, tensions will increase in the region as a whole, he believes.
Leonid Ivashov noted that there are much more people in Kyrgyzstan who want stability than those who want provocations, revolutions, coups.
«However, they are more active, impudent. Internal and external communication of adventurous groups uses the discontent of the people. The question is: who will lead the healthy forces, on what basis will the struggle for stabilization and destabilization take place. I am sure that the Kyrgyz people will show wisdom. Today, not only Central Asia, but the whole world is raging. We must understand that none of the states can cope on its own," Leonid Ivashov added.
External forces are always behind all these groups.
