Announcement of a verdict to the leaders of «People’s Parliament» and «El Kunu» movement Kuvanychbek Kadyrov, Bektur Asanov, Dastan Sarygulov and Ernst Karybekov is postponed indefinitely. Civil activist Adil Turdukulov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, Kuvanychbek Kadyrov was to say his last word at today’s hearing, but it was postponed because of illness of the judge.
The state prosecution asked 12 years of imprisonment for Dastan Sarygulov, Bektur Asanov — 15, Kubanychbek Kadyrov — 16 years, Ernest Karybekov — 22 years in prison with confiscation of property.
They were arrested in 2016 on charges of forcible seizure of power and espionage.
The basis for the criminal case was the audio recording that appeared on the Internet. It recorded how the detainees divide state posts in case of seizure of power.
