Volume of remittances to Kyrgyzstan decreases by $ 27.1 million

In January 2017, the inflow of money transfers to Kyrgyzstan decreased by $ 27.1 million. Such data was presented by the National Bank of the country.

It is noted that by the end of the first month of the year, $ 121.4 million has been transferred to Kyrgyzstan. In December 2016, this amount was slightly higher — $ 156.7 million. At the same time,Russia accounts for most of the transfers — $ 117.9 million.

At the same time, $ 23.8 million were transferred from Kyrgyzstan. This is $ 8.1 million less than in December 2016. It should be noted that most of the transfers — $ 23.5 million — were also sent to Russia. Thus, the net inflow of remittances to the country was $ 97.6 million and decreased by $ 27.1 million compared to December 2016.
