The alternative North-South road has been reopened to traffic since June 1. The relevant services announced.
This decision was made in response to numerous citizen requests. Traffic on the road will be permitted until November 2026.
However, drivers are warned that the risk of rockfalls remains on certain sections of the road. Drivers are asked to observe the speed limit and exercise extreme caution when driving through potentially dangerous sections.
The road will be closed again starting in November. These restrictions will remain in effect during the winter for safety reasons. The road is scheduled to be reopened to traffic in May 2027.
