Head of Kyrgyzstan’s SCNS attends CIS Security Services meeting

Zhumgalbek Shabdanbekov, Chairman of Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security (SCNS), attended the 58th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS countries. The meeting took place on May 25 in Irkutsk, Russia.

The event was attended by heads of the security services of the CIS states and representatives of international organizations. The parties discussed issues of international and regional security, as well as contemporary threats and challenges.

During his speech, the SCNS head emphasized the importance of coordination and close cooperation among the security services of the Commonwealth countries.

Following the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their partnership and continuing joint efforts to ensure security and stability within the CIS region.
