New "White House" opened in Bishkek

A new building of the presidential administration and the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has been ceremonially opened in Bishkek. The event was broadcast live on NTRK TV channel.

Head of State Sadyr Japarov called the new «White House» Yntymak-Manas Ordo. However, judging by the official presentation, the word «Manas» was removed from the name.

The President noted that Yntymak Ordo is not only an administrative building, but also an architectural symbol of determination and a call for friendship, unanimity and development. Sadyr Japarov thanked the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov and the presidential affairs manager Kanybek Tumanbayev for implementing the project on construction of the presidential administration building.

Among the invited guests were public and government figures, members of the Parliament, diplomats, high-ranking officials, including former president of the country Sooronbai Jeenbekov.

The famous Swedish violinist, compatriot Daniel Lozakovich, performed for the guests.

Construction of the new «White House» on the site of the demolished Issyk-Kul hotel began in the spring of 2022, and was promised to be completed by August 31, 2023. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov complained about the lack of workers.

The cost of construction of the new building of the presidential administration, as well as information about its investors and contractors, remain secret.
