Appreciation of the U.S. dollar continues in Kyrgyzstan. Since the beginning of the week, its exchange rate has grown by 20 tyiyns.
Today, exchange offices in the capital and commercial banks buy the American currency for 89-89.3 soms, and sell for 89.7-89.72 soms. The nominal exchange rate was set by the National Bank at 89.3169 soms (0.04 percent growth).
The euro has also slightly appreciated over the past 24 hours. Its buying rate to date is 97.1-97.6 soms, the selling rate is 98.1-98.6 soms. The official exchange rate is 97.7395 soms (0.02 percent drop).
The Russian ruble also returned to its previous positions. Today it is bought for 0.985-0.99 soms, sold for 1.01-1.02 soms. The nominal exchange rate is 0.9929 som (0.92 percent growth).
Exchange rate of the Kazakh tenge also increased slightly. Its buying rate is 0.13-0.137 soms, the selling rate is 0.2-0.21 soms with the official rate at 0.197 soms.
