Head of Alamedin rural administration detained for bribe-taking

The head of Alamedin rural administration is suspected of taking a bribe in the amount of 400,000 soms. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

A resident of Chui region contacted the police with a request to take action against the head of the Alamedin rural administration.

«In January 2021, abusing their official position, under the pretext of providing a land plot of 4 ares, officials took a bribe of 400,000 soms. However, after receiving the money they did not fulfill their obligations,» the ministry said.

A criminal case has been opened.

When returning part of the bribe received in the amount of 40,000 soms, the chief accountant and the head of Alamedin rural administration were detained. Investigation is underway.
