Every year the UN system injects $100 million into Kyrgyzstan for development. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov said at the National Poverty and Inequality Development Forum.
As of November 2023, projects for $64 million have been implemented, he said.
«Of these, $26 million — for the social sector, $10 million — economy, $19 million — environment and climate, $9 million — public administration and rule of law,» Akylbek Japarov said and expressed gratitude to the UN system for assistance to the country.
