Kyrgyzstan provides humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

Kyrgyzstan provided humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. The press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.

The humanitarian mission was organized under the instruction of the President.

A batch of medicines and veterinary drugs — about two tons — was delivered to the province of Badakhshan, to the Little and Great Pamirs of Afghanistan.

Kyrgyzstan’s medical workers also visited the country, examined local residents and provided assistance to 600 of them.

Veterinary specialists studied the epizootic situation and vaccinated more than 700 heads of cattle and small ruminants. Veterinary drugs were handed over to the Afghans and trainings were conducted on their use for the prevention of various diseases.
