Kyrgyzstan to host MadWay Rally

Race of the international project MadWay Rally will be held in Kyrgyzstan. Organizers of the event announced.

According to them, from June 24 to July 1, more than 20 cars, motorcycles and buggies will travel along a route of 2,500 kilometers in the Tien Shan mountains.

The vehicles participating in this rally are inspired by the post-apocalyptic action movie Mad Max: Fury Road.

The race will end in Cholpon-Ata city. Its hippodrome will host the music festival MadWay Fest. The headliners of the event will be Diana Arbenina (Nochnye Snaipery) and Uma2rman band; domestic performers JAX 02.14 and DJ KISS, as well as the Belarusian cover band Minsk Sea will participate in the concert. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to charity.

MadWay Rally is a project initiated by a Cypriot entrepreneur Alexey Gubarev in 2018. Mainly businessmen from the IT industry are among the participants. Previously, MadWay Rally took place in Mongolia, Baikal and Altai, where travelers had to test themselves and their cars for strength in the wild.

The route in Kyrgyzstan will be the most difficult of the four: mountain passes up to 4,000 meters high, serpentines, and air temperature difference.
