President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, as part of his working trip to Talas region, opened a new building of a department of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS). Press service of the head of state reported.
Sadyr Japarov noted that the new building and conditions would give new strength to the security forces and would be the beginning for new achievements for the benefit of the people.
«To date, important work is being carried out in the country to ensure national security and regional integrity, as well as to strengthen interethnic unity, law, order and socio-economic stability of the state and society. Security agencies play a significant role in creating conditions for the development of the state. Now, against the backdrop of external and internal threats, the current geopolitical situation, the state should not only place high responsibility on the employees of the State Committee for National Security, but also help improve their conditions of service, as well as provide social support,» he said.
The President recalled that the old building of the Talas department was built in 1936. Additional funds were allocated annually for repairs. In addition, its area is only 1,000 square meters, so there were not enough offices, two or three employees had to share one office.
The new building with an area of 2,000 square meters was built for one year and equipped with everything necessary.
