Golf players from Kyrgyzstan won medals at two major international tournaments in Uzbekistan. The Golf Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Almaz Tilenbaev took the second place at the Tashkent Open Silk Road Tournament, Urmat Akmatov and Altynbek Imanaliev took the third places. The team of the Kyrgyz Republic consisted of 10 athletes.
Kyrgyzstan was represented by two members of the Golf Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic — Madina Ishenova (Vice President of the Golf Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic) and Zarina Omorova at the Ladies Golf Cup Uzbekistan Tournament.
Zarina Omorova took the first place, Madina Ishenova — the third.
