The republican budget in January-September 2022 was implemented with a surplus in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The Eurasian Economic Commission presented such data.
It is specified that the budget deficit decreased by 1.8 times in Kazakhstan. In Russia, there was an eight-fold decrease in the budget surplus.
Meanwhile, the budget deficit in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 35 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance of the country explained that the main reasons for the decrease in tax revenues were the armed conflict in Ukraine and the introduction of additional sanctions against Russia. This led to a decrease in EAEU revenues, which affected the receipt of customs duties from the Russian Federation and Belarus.
