More than 600 people have applied for Digital Nomad status. The Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan, Kudaibergen Bazarbaev, announced at a press conference.
According to him, these are citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Russia and other countries.
«182 people have been already registered. The documents of the rest are being processed,» the official added.
In April 2022, President Sadyr Japarov signed an order on creation of special conditions for work of the so-called «digital nomads» in Kyrgyzstan. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the temporary regulation on assigning the status of Digital Nomad to foreign citizens and stateless persons.
