Materials concerning the ex-vice prime minister of Kyrgyzstan Dzhoomart Otorbaev within the criminal case on Kumtor have been sent to court. Own sources told 24.kg news agency.
The criminal case against the former head of the Cabinet of Ministers was severed.
«Dzhoomart Otorbaev entered into a plea bargain, so his case was investigated separately from other defendants. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek will consider the merits of the case. Dzhoomart Otorbaev will be sentenced to a fine,» the sources said.
The Pervomaisky District Court confirmed to 24.kg news agency that the case materials have been submitted for consideration.
Dzhoomart Otorbaev is a defendant in a criminal case on Kumtor. He was detained and placed in the remand prison of the State Committee for National Security in September, and two months later he was released on his own recognizance not to leave the city.
