Sadyr Japarov receives credentials from ambassadors of several countries

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received credentials from Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of several foreign countries accredited in the country. Presidential press service reported.

The credentials were presented by the Ambassadors of the Swiss Confederation Olivier Bangerter, Mongolia Gankhuyag Sodnom and Azerbaijan Latif Seyfaddin Ogly Gandilov.

Before the ceremony, the heads of foreign diplomatic missions were greeted by a guard of honor.

Participants of bilateral meetings discussed issues of deepening relations, strengthening political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, a significant increase in trade turnover and investment cooperation.

The head of state congratulated the ambassadors on their appointment to a high and responsible position.

He expressed readiness to step up cooperation with the countries they represent in all areas of mutual interest within the framework of bilateral format and international organizations.

The head of state focused on the importance of developing and deepening interstate political, cultural and humanitarian relations, as well as the establishment of direct trade and economic contacts and stimulating activities to attract foreign investment to Kyrgyzstan.

Sadyr Japarov emphasized one of the priority tasks of Kyrgyzstan, which is to protect the interests of foreign investors.

According to him, to this end, the country’s leadership is working actively to improve the investment climate in the country and the Kyrgyz side is ready to implement joint projects with foreign investors.

In turn, the Swiss Ambassador Olivier Bangerter noted many similarities between his country and Kyrgyzstan.

Olivier Bangerter noted Switzerland’s readiness for close cooperation and allocation of $22 million for development programs in Kyrgyzstan.

The Ambassador Gankhuyag Sodnom conveyed warm greetings from the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and noted the high level of political contacts between the countries. He reminded that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries would be marked next year.

Gankhuyag Sodnom noted the readiness to expand relations in agriculture and light industry, where there is great potential. The Mongolian ambassador also congratulated Kyrgyzstan on the beginning of its presidency over the EAEU.

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan Latif Seyfaddin Ogly Gandilov emphasized that the countries are united by common history and cultural and spiritual heritage along the lines of ancient Turkic roots and the Soviet period.

As the ambassador noted, the two countries have similar positions on all international issues. He stressed Azerbaijan’s readiness to increase investment cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
