Victoria Mozgacheva: Coronavirus situation in Bishkek is stable

The epidemiological situation in Bishkek is stable. The Vice Mayor of the capital Victoria Mozgacheva told at a briefing.

She noted that this is not a reason to relax. «From 20 to 50 cases are registered daily. There are asymptomatic carriers. Therefore, we urge to comply with sanitary and epidemiological norms. If a quarantine is prescribed, it should be observed, including by contact persons,» Victoria Mozgacheva said.

She also called to get vaccinated against coronavirus.

«Yes, it is still possible to get infected, but the chance of severe course of the disease and fatal outcome is excluded. Those who are in serious condition in hospitals today have not been vaccinated. There are people who get sick even after vaccination, but they have a mild form of the disease. We need to think about our loved ones and collective safety, public health, not let the hotbeds of the disease spread,» the Vice Mayor added.

Earlier, she told that school No. 56 in Bishkek was quarantined. However, there is no signs that all educational institutions will switch to online learning after the New Year celebrations.
