Russia registers coronavirus vaccine for adolescents

Use of COVID-19 vaccine for adolescents at the age of 12-17 has been approved in Russia. Denis Logunov, deputy head ofthe Gamaleya National Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology, told. RIA Novosti reports.

«Permission has been received to use Sputnik in the child population, the vaccine has been registered,» he said at a briefing.

It is known that the vaccine was named «Sputnik M». It is based on the same platform as the original Sputnik V and is injected in two doses at an interval of 21 days.
