Social workers of Bishkek got uniform workwear. Press service of the city administration reported.
According to it, dishes for the delivery of hot meals, sphygmomanometers (devices for indirect measurement of blood pressure) and first-aid kits were purchased at the expense of the city budget.
There are 84 social workers in district social development offices. They serve 682 lonely pensioners and people with disabilities who need care at home. They are delivered food, medicines, basic necessities, helped to get housing subsidies for utilities, and called doctors.
«At least 184 people are delivered hot one-time meal 6 days a week. Daily sum for one-time meal is 60 soms per day. The menu was approved by the Department of Food Hygiene of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy. The supplier of food is chosen on the results of electronic state procurement,» the state administration stressed.
