Gulamzhan Anarbaev, Chairman of the State Financial Intelligence Service of Kyrgyzstan, was reprimanded. Press service of the Government reported.
The decree was signed by the Prime Minister Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev. Reasons for reprimand were not reported.
Last week, the State Financial Intelligence Service requested data on all clients from commercial banks. Experts, lawyers, the Union of Banks, the Ministry of Economy and the National Bank considered this requirement illegal. As a result, representatives of the Financial Intelligence Service admitted that not a single bank provided them with complete information about all clients, and they would work on creation of a register of all clients of commercial banks with the National Bank.
