Presentation of automated electronic ticketing systems took place in the Osh Municipal Motor Transport Enterprise. The Public Relations Service of Osh City Administration reported.
Employees of the Czech Microelectronics Company installed electronic reading systems on all buses and trolleybuses of the city, and also trained the personnel of the enterprise in registration of transport cards and work with the population in this direction.
The automated e-ticketing systems will be put into operation in the nearest future.
There will be three types of cards: for beneficiaries — pensioners and people with disabilities, for schoolchildren and a usual transport card for all citizens. Public transport fee for schoolchildren is 1 som, which will be automatically charged off the card account. The balance of the card can be replenished.
In addition, the automated systems can accept coins and issue appropriate travel receipts.
It is reported that 31 trolleybuses and 30 buses operate in Osh. The fee in buses of the city is 8 soms, in trolleybuses — 6 soms, for schoolchildren — 1 som.
