4.7 magnitude earthquake hits Kyrgyzstan

A 4.7 magnitude earthquake and reaching more than 4 points in the epicenter occurred in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan today night. The Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to it, the earthquake occurred at 04.15 am, 17 kilometers south-east of Tuura-Suu village, 22 kilometers from Bokonbaev village and 24 kilometers south-west of Kadzhi-Sai village.

The intensity of the earthquake in Tuura-Suu and Temir-Kanat villages was 4 points, in Bokonbaev, Tort-Kul, Kadzhi-Sai — about 4 points, Toguz-Bulak, Den-Talaa villages — 3 points.
