An exhibition site — a platform on Ak-Buura river, was opened in Osh city. Press service of the Osh City Administration reported.
The facility was created as a comfortable place for events, where Osh residents and guests of the southern capital can rest and spend their leisure time. The opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister Sapar Isakov, Mayor of the city Aitmamat Kadyrbayev, artists and musicians of the city theaters and Regional Philharmonic Hall, dance youth groups, townspeople.
The head of government stressed that the exhibition site is unique and has no analogues in Central Asia.
After the official part, the guests watched festive concert with the participation of honored and popular artists, pop stars, musical groups, a dance light show, fashion collections in national and ethnic style from the fashion houses of the city, professional designers and students. Concert program ended with festive fireworks.
Osh City Administration noted that the tender cost of construction was 16.4 million soms, the length of the podium — 60 meters, width — 40 meters. Construction work began in August 2017. Funds for construction were allocated from the local and republican budgets.
