Kyrgyzstan’s athlete Nurbek Valizhonov won the WBC Asia championship title.
At a tournament in Bangkok, he entered the ring in the under 90.7 kg weight class against Thailand’s Panya Chomphoophuang.
Valizhonov secured victory by knockout, earning the championship belt.
Earlier, in January, he also became the Asian professional boxing champion under the Asian Boxing Federation.
