Foreigner attempts to rob store in Tokmak city

A foreigner was detained in Tokmak city who attempted to rob a store. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

According to it, a alarm from the protected store was received on the security panel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The man tried to leave the store through the window.

«During the detention, the man resisted police officers, attacked them with an iron mount and screwdriver. The detainee, 40, turned out to be a citizen of a neighboring state,» the statement says.

The suspect was handed over to the operational investigative group of the Tokmak police department. The investigation is ongoing.
