At least 70 hectares of land will be leased out to the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov.
The land plot is in perpetual use of the Ala-Archa National Natural Park under the Department of Presidential Affairs and is located in Baytik village.
According to the document, the lease term is 49 years. The land plot is being transferred for the organization of a research center for sustainable agriculture, forestry, and livestock farming. The university must organize and begin its activities within three years.
