Bakyt Tologonov was appointed an acting Chief Physician of the National Hospital. The Personnel Department of the Ministry of Health confirmed the information.
Bakyt Tologonov was relieved of his post by order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic dated September 22, 2023 No. 228, and Toktobai Maanaev was appointed instead. The latter worked at the post for several days, and the Ministry of Health reversed its decision.
The duties of the chief physician until the appointment of a new head were entrusted to the deputy head of the National Hospital Ulukbek Kulukeev.
The position became vacant after a criminal case was opened against the former head of the hospital Toktobai Maanaev. According to the State Committee for National Security, corruption schemes were revealed in the medical institution.
