Kyrgyzstan is celebrating the 32nd anniversary of its independence today. On August 31, 1991, the Supreme Council of the republic adopted the Declaration of State Independence, completing the process of secession from the USSR.
For almost three decades Kyrgyzstan has experienced a lot. There were ups and downs, the overthrow of presidents, and the search for own path of development. But despite everything, the country continues to move forward.
We have gone through a difficult and thorny path. Kyrgyzstan learned to live independently, to establish ties with former Soviet republics and foreign countries, to carry out reforms, and tried to find its own way.
