Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with the Aide to the President of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
The parties held talks on issues in the field of trade, transit cargo transportation, logistics, fuel, water and energy industries.
Bakyt Torobaev noted that topical issues of bilateral Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation are discussed in detail and resolved in the spirit of mutual understanding, trust and support.
«It is important for us to hold regular meetings to discuss problems and obstacles in the field of trade and transit cargo transportation, and find ways to solve them,» he said.
During the conversation, issues in the field of water and energy management were also discussed in detail.
To ensure the rational use of water and energy resources in the region, the parties noted the importance of cooperation on the project of construction of Kambarata HPP-1.
