«I believe it is necessary to work out the issue of the expediency of establishing the Institute of Business Ombudsman in the Union,» President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said at a plenary session of the second Eurasian Economic Forum.
According to him, creation of an Eurasian Rating Agency, along with the elimination of restrictions faced by business entities, would increase the level of financial independence of the countries of the Eurasian region and intensify investment activities.
«I am sure that the protection of business interests and their support by the state are priority tasks in all EAEU states. Therefore, I propose to consider the issue of creation of an Institute of Business Ombudsman. This, in my opinion, will contribute to strengthening the potential of business, taking into account opinions and protecting the rights of business entities. Ultimately, such an institution will help us minimize barriers in the internal market of the Union and form a mechanism for pre-trial resolution of emerging issues,» Sadyr Japarov said.
He also recalled that in terms of supporting business and society, the main goal of the EAEU is to create conditions for the stable development of the economies of the member states in order to improve the living standards of their population. In addition, the Union works for comprehensive modernization, cooperation and increasing the competitiveness of national economies. A person is in the focus of attention in the Eurasian association. This means that every citizen should feel at home on the territory of any country of the association.
«For this, it is necessary to ensure freedom of movement, equal rights to employment, education, advanced training, healthcare and sports. In this connection, we see it as an important task to carry out all-Union projects and programs in these and various other fields. In terms of business support, we all use various types and mechanisms of support at the national level. At the same time, due to their institutional and financial capabilities, development of such institutions is at different stages of formation and growth, and also varies greatly in terms of the volume and level of support provided. Therefore, the Union is developing various mechanisms for financial and non-financial support for businesses, including manufacturers and exporters,» the head of state stressed.
He said that the issue of assisting joint cooperation projects in industries with a specific source of funding would be considered at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The president is sure that this will increase the volume of joint production, stimulate investment growth and create additional jobs.
