President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev. Press service of the head of state reported.
The parties exchanged views on priority areas of activity, as well as on the further development of the organization in the near future. Sadyr Japarov noted the growing role of the OTS in the international arena and the fruitful work of Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
The OTS Secretary General, in turn, told about the activities of the organization, plans for 2023 and ongoing work to improve the effectiveness of the Turkic institutions of cooperation.
He paid special attention to the preparations for the organization of the V World Nomad Games, which will be held in 2024 in Kazakhstan, as well as negotiations with other international organizations on the development of transport links to promote trade and economic ties between Turkic-speaking states.
