Kyrgyzstan presents exposition at Eurasian Youth Forum

Kyrgyzstan presented its national pavilion on the sidelines of the 13^th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum.

«We represent the Kyrgyz diaspora, mission of Kyrgyzstan. Every year we participate in festivals and events held in Yekaterinburg. We tell about our culture, customs, national clothes,» said Gulya Karachaeva, Chairwoman of the Women’s Council of Sverdlovsk regional public organization Kyrgyzstan — Ural.

Guests of the festival enjoyed not only the exposition, but also tried on national clothes. A part of the yurt, national clothes and headdresses were also presented at the exhibition.

«When a woman gets married, she puts on such a headdress. It is from 20 to 40 meters long. Since the Kyrgyz were nomads, elechek was used for practical purposes,» Gulya Karachaeva told.
