President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited the border guards who were wounded during a shootout at the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border. Press service of the President reported.
Patients are under the supervision of specialists and receive medical care at the National Hospital, all the necessary diagnostic tests have been carried out.
Shootout at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border took place at about noon on June 3 in Bulak-Bashy area of Batken region. The border patrol of Kyrgyzstan discovered the military of the neighboring republic. Border detachments of the two countries exchanged fire, during which the Tajik side used mortars. Two Kyrgyz servicemen were wounded. They were transported to Bishkek. The condition of the border guards is grave.
