President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev today received participants of the Eurasian intergovernmental council of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The heads of governments of the EEU countries — Dmitry Medvedev, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, Karen Karapetyan, Andrei Kobyakov, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, as well as the chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan participated in the meeting.
«The Eurasian Economic Union is working for the third year, and in this time there is difficult situation both in the world and in national economies of the EEU countries. The main factor is the creation of a common market, a single economic structure. I think we moved in the right direction all the time. Despite the existing questions, we need to strengthen our union. We have a task to ensure that internal issues, mutual relations of the countries have their development in the future,» Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
