About 3,000 athletes from around the world will take part in the 6th World Nomad Games. Urmat Asanbaev, Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, announced at a press conference.
According to him, approximately 3,000 people will participate in the competitions in 43 sports.
The World Nomad Games are held every two years. The sixth Games will be held in the Kyrgyz Republic from August 31 to September 6. Athletes from more than 100 countries are expected to participate, competing in national wrestling, horse racing, and archery.
The first World Nomad Games were held in 2014.
