At least 13 citizens and two exchange offices were fined as a result of raids from August 28 to August 30 in the southern region of Kyrgyzstan. The National Bank reported.
According to its data, 13 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were fined at Dostuk checkpoint, in Aravan and Kara-Suu districts of Osh region. The amount of fines for each was 17,500 soms. The violators exchanged foreign currency without a license from the National Bank.
In addition, two exchange offices in Osh region were fined 55,000 soms for violating the regulatory legal acts of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. In connection with the detected violations, the currency exchange license of Rysbek Valyuta exchange office, located in Osh, was suspended from August 31 to September 14.
