The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree on the formation of a working group to finalize the draft law «On Non-Commercial Non-Governmental Organizations.» Press service of the head of state reported.
The working group has to finalize the draft document by June 1, 2023.
Its members include:
- Murat Ukushov — head of the Directorate for Legal Support of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Administration, head of the working group;
- Almaz Aiylchiev — head of the Department for Legal Support of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers — Deputy Head of the Department for Legal Support of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Administration, deputy head of the working group;
- Akylbek Turatbek uulu — expert of the Department of Legal Support of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Directorate of Legal Support of the Presidential Administration;
- Urmat Akuluev — head of the Department for Registration of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice;
- Mairambek Azhybaev — head of the Department of Methodological Work of the Directorate for Work with Taxpayers of the State Tax Service;
- Aida Kurmanbayeva — representative of Adilet Legal Clinic;
- Aibek Askarbekov — representative of Civil Participation Public Foundation;
- Bakyta Kachikeyeva — representative of Strategic Decisions Public Foundation;
- Tattybubu Ergeshbaeva — representative of KG Lawyers Community Public Foundation;

Earlier, Murat Ukushev said that the draft law on NGOs, drawn up on the Old Square and submitted for public discussion earlier, would be amended and finalized taking into account the comments of representatives of the civil sector.
