The National History Museum of Kyrgyzstan will cooperate with the Hermitage (Russia). It became known following a visit of Pavel Lurie, Head of the Central Asia, Caucasus and Crimea Sector of the Oriental Department of the State Hermitage Museum, to Bishkek.
Scientists of the two countries intend to conduct joint research, organize expositions and other events.
As the Director of the National History Museum Zhyldyz Bakashova noted, they had collaborated with Russian colleagues before, and while on a business trip, she suggested the Russian colleagues to work together.
Pavel Lurie donated to the History Museum a collection with the results of expeditionary field research that Russian scientists conducted in 2021 in Kyrgyzstan.
