Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, Akylbek Japarov and Nikol Pashinyan discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest. The parties noted the importance of building up Kyrgyz-Armenian economic ties and interaction within the framework of international organizations and integration associations.
Akylbek Japarov noted a large untapped potential between the countries.
The parties discussed ways of further development of economic ties. Importance of the work of the intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific-technical and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries was also stressed.
