Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict: Negotiations could take place in Bishkek

Moscow is considering the possibility of a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on October 12 in Bishkek on the sidelines of the CIS summit. Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin told RBC.

He assured that the dialogue between Moscow, Baku and Yerevan on a wide range of issues on the settlement of the Armenia — Azerbaijan conflict has never stopped. The Russian side expects that such contacts will be continued.

According to Mikhail Galuzin, Azerbaijan has already agreed to hold a meeting in Bishkek. Moscow hopes that Armenia will agree to participate in such negotiations.

On September 19, Azerbaijan announced the beginning of «anti-terrorist measures of local character» in Nagorno-Karabakh.

On September 20, the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities actually capitulated. They adopted a decision on ceasefire and disarmament.
