A man beat his wife on a parking lot in Bishkek. The video was posted on social media.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place near Dordoi Plaza shopping center.
The footage shows the man hitting the woman with his head in the face. When she tried to run away, he ran after her and continued to hit her on the head with his fist.
The Internal Affairs Department of Sverdlovsky district informed 24.kg news agency that the fact was registered and pre-trial proceedings were started under article 266 «Hooliganism» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
«Investigative actions are underway,» the police said.
