The closing ceremony of the World Nomad Games, organized in Astana, will be held in a protocol format without spectators due to a budget reduction. The organizers of the Games reported.
«The closing ceremony of the World Nomad Games will be held today, September 13. Due to budget reduction this spring, the event will be held without lavish celebrations, in a protocol format and without spectators. The closing ceremony can be watched live on leading Kazakhstan’s TV channels,» the statement says.
The organizers also called on people not to succumb to offers from fraudsters to buy tickets to the closing ceremony.
«Tickets for the closing ceremony are not sold. Any such offers are fraudulent, and citizens are urged to be vigilant. Please do not respond to dubious offers. The closing ceremony is intended exclusively for participants and does not provide for the presence of spectators,» they explained.
According to the organizers, about 2,500 athletes from 89 countries took part in the V World Nomad Games, uniting representatives of different cultures and ethnic groups in a large-scale celebration of sports and traditions of nomadic culture.
The World Nomad Games have been held at the initiative of Kyrgyzstan since 2014.
