A road accident involving five vehicles occurred on a bypass road in Issyk-Ata district, resulting in the death of seven people. The press service of the Main Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic informed 24.kg news agency.
The accident occurred on September 1 at about 3.20 p.m. on the 51st kilometer of Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart highway. According to preliminary data, a Subaru car was driving at high speed and its tire burst. The driver lost control of the vehicle, drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Another Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Voxy were also damaged in the accident.
The press service of the Main Traffic Safety Department told 24.kg news agency that seven people died from injuries at the scene. All collected materials were transferred to the investigative service.
