Wrestler from Kyrgyzstan Amantur Ismailov lost the fight for a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Paris. The Olympic Games website says.
In the weight category up to 67 kilograms, he defeated a representative of Georgia in the 1/8 finals, but lost to an athlete from Ukraine in the quarterfinals. His opponent reached the final, and Amantur Ismailov got a chance to win bronze.
In the first round of the consolation tournament, the Kyrgyzstani defeated Mate Nemes, but lost the fight for the medal to Hasrat Jafarov from Azerbaijan.
As a result, Amantur Ismailov took fifth place.
