Kyrgyzstan plans to export apricots and peaches to China. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
According to it, a draft protocol has been prepared between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic and the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China «On phytosanitary requirements for fresh apricot and peach fruits exported from Kyrgyzstan to China.»
Exported fresh apricot (Prunus armeniaca) and peach (Prunus persica) fruits must comply with the health and safety standards and phytosanitary requirements of the People’s Republic of China.
Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry
According to the requirements, places of production of fresh apricot and peach fruits, as well as storage and packaging places will be inspected by specialists from the General Administration of Customs of China. Based on the results, a register of gardens for export of products will be compiled.
The Ministry of Agriculture informs all agricultural producers involved in the export of fresh apricots and peaches and invites them to close cooperation.
