The Russian Export Center (REC) has supported supplies to Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of 2024, providing 355 services totaling $77.4 million. Dmitry Prokhorenko, director for development of the foreign network of the REC, told.
«Since the beginning of the year, within the framework of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, 211 exporters of products from the metallurgical industry, timber and agro-industrial complex, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries have received REC support. In total, 355 export services were supported for a total amount of $77.4 million,» Dmitry Prokhorenko said at the fifth meeting of the Russian-Kyrgyz working group on industry.
He added that the import of engineering products also received support from the REC.
The REC group’s portfolio today includes about 40 projects in Kyrgyzstan worth more than $700 million.
Dmitry Prokhorenko emphasized that the priority tasks of the REC group in cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic include strengthening foreign economic interaction between Russian companies and partners, establishing contacts with key counterparties, as well as supporting export-oriented projects to ensure the effective implementation of transactions.
