When paying for travel in public transport in cash, passengers will get a ticket. Vice Mayor of Bishkek Maksatbek Sazykulov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the City Hall has prepared 1 million tickets.
«Each has a number so that a passenger cannot travel twice with the same ticket. The driver is required to issue tickets to those who pay in cash,» he said.
The Bishkek City Council approved an increase in fares today. In case of non-cash payment, the cost will be 17 soms, in case of cash payment — 20 soms.
