The head of the delegation of Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aibek Moldogaziev, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra Imma Tor Faus on the sidelines of the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Skopje. The press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in expanding bilateral cooperation. Taking into account Andorra’s rich experience in tourism development, Aibek Moldogaziev proposed considering the possibilities of implementation of joint projects in this direction.
A separate topic of the meeting was mutual support for initiatives aimed at developing mountain regions.
The head of the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that the country advocates the creation of a broad coalition of mountain states and considers Andorra as an important partner in terms of sustainable mountain development on the world stage.
In turn, Imma Tor Faus expressed her readiness to consider the proposals of the Kyrgyz side and invited representatives of the relevant departments of the republic to visit Andorra to establish closer cooperation.
