New ambulance substation opened in Ak-Orgo residential area

A new ambulance substation has been opened in Ak-Orgo residential area. The head of the Emergency Medicine Center of Bishkek, Iskender Shayakhmetov, told to 24.kg news agency.

According to him, four ambulance teams (two teams of doctors and two paramedics) will be on duty around the clock.

«The substation will serve all residential areas in the southwestern part of the city. The Ministry of Health handed over four Toyota Hiace ambulances, fully equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment equipment. We are currently recruiting doctors and paramedics. With the commissioning of this substation, we will bring ambulance services closer to the population of remote residential areas that border the Sokuluk district,» Iskender Shayakhmetov said.

The substation was built and opened at the expense of funding from the Qatar Charity Foundation and co-financing from the Bishkek City Hall.
